Year 10 SEMESTER TWO - Unit One

TASK
Create a minimum of six self-portrait images exploring a variety of 2D media and differing surfaces. 
Expand your folio by scanning the artwork and taking it into photoshop to change colours, use filters, cut and past, distort, etc.

The key is experimentation, pushing your own boundaries and ideas. 

Research what other artists have done for inspiration.

This unit concentrates on presenting, in visual form, one or more facets of man's interaction in Surfers Paradise - the people, the place, the beach, the environment.

2019 - SEMESTER ONE - UNIT TWO - SELF PORTRAIT ACRYLIC ON CANVAS PORTRAITS

IDENTITY –
Expressive Self- Portrait
Student’s develop a self-portrait to communicate how they are perceived as individuals in this world through research and exploring the use of identity in modern to  post-modern portraiture ( other artist’s styles ).












2019 SEMESTER ONE - UNIT ONE - EXPERIMENTAL FOLIO


IDENTITY –

Student’s develop between 6 – 10 self-portrait exploring the use of a variety of media and styles.
Start with a selfie that is developed in photoshop using the stamp and photocopy filters to get a basic outline and understanding of shape and form of face.
Draw over the images to form a template that will be used for each artwork.
