Create an artwork that presents ONE ( or ) more of the facets showing mans interaction on the Gold Coast.

Select your media in response to the concept and your focus.

You negotiate the media - materials, techniques, technologies and processes that could include 2D media, mixed media, found media, 3D media, electronic, time based or new media.

IDENTITY –

Expressive Self- Portrait

Student’s develop a self-portrait to communicate how they are perceived as individuals in this world through research and exploring the use of identity in modern to  post-modern portraiture ( other artist’s styles ).

2020 YEAR 10 SEMESTER ONE

TASK ONE - EXPERIMENTAL FOLIO

Using simple photoshop techniques and filters break the original ‘selfie’ image into simple line and form information before commencing your experimental works in A3 size.

Create a minimum of six up to eight self-portrait images exploring a variety of 2D media and differening surfaces ( including photoshop mashups of your work ).

The key is experimentation, different media, pushing your own boundaries and ideas. Research what other artists have done for inspiration.
